INTRODUCTION TO DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING - April 13 & 20th

Are you passionate about documentaries? Would you like to create your own? Do you have a story to tell but don’t know how? This workshop is designed for you to make a contemporary, cinematic, engaging documentary from start to finish!

SHORT FILM PRODUCTION WORKSHOP: LEARN BY MAKING A SHORT FILM - May 04-05 & 11-12 - 04th

Have you wanted to learn about filmmaking, but didn’t know where to start? The Short Film Production Workshop: Learn by Making a Short Film is tailored to teach you the basics of filmmaking in a fun and very hands-on way.

In two weekends you will learn different aspects of filmmaking, including storytelling, directing, camerawork, lighting, and sound. We will then put this into practice as we shoot a short film together.

FIRST STEP FILMMAKING WORKSHOP: MAKE YOUR OWN FILM - Feb. 02 - 04th

Have you wanted to learn about filmmaking, but didn’t know where to start? The First Step Film Workshop: Make Your Own Film is tailored to teach you the basics of filmmaking in a fun and very hands-on way.

In one weekend you will make your very own short film using equipment you already have.

FILM LIGHTING WORKSHOP: HANDS-ON LIGHTING - FEB. 24 - 25th

Learning to light will take your images to the next level. The Film Lighting Workshop: Hands-On Lighting will give you several different sceanrios that you will light as a class. This is a very hands-on workshop intended to teach the fundamentals by having you do the work yourself.

FILM CAMERAWORK WORKSHOP: PROFESSIONAL FILM CAMERAWORK- DATE HERE. 09 - 10th

In this very hands-on workshop there will be a mix of demonstration, practical exercises, and useful camerawork theory. You will learn how to set up both a Sony mirrorless camera, as well as the Sony FX6 cinema camera. You will attach accessories you would normally find on a film set to make these cameras ready for shooting. You will also learn how to break down, prepare for, and shoot a simple, pre-scripted scene with all participants getting to perform the different camera department roles. If you’re looking to advance your camerawork knowledge this workshop will help you take a few big steps down that road.
