What would a film community be without showing films! Once a month we screen short films from around the world and invite a director to show their movie and answer to Q&A! The screenings are a vibrant night where people get to watch some great films, have a few drinks, and meet some interesting people.
Some of these directors have also gotten their films off the ground at one of our Pitch & Planning Sessions. There is a certain amount of satisfaction we as the organizers get in having played a small part in helping someone get their project made. Even better is when the project gets completed and it’s ready to show, we often get the directors premiering their work at Drink.Watch.Talk. This is what the group is all about. Making films happen. We love being the group that can help you find the people you need to get your project off the ground and that when it is done, you can have a place to show your baby to the world.

As always, we will also have a selection of great short films from all around the world. All screening are either in English, or contain English subtitles.

We are very happy to be hosting at the beautiful House of Music, a space for music, filmmaking, open working environments, and diverse networking possibilities. You can find it on the historical R.A.W. grounds in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.

If you are a Berlin based director and would like the opportunity to screen your short film in an intimate setting feel free to reach out to us with a link or a way for us to view your short film. Please be aware though that we do not screen every film we get sent. While tastes in film is subjective, as the hosts we try to make sure that the films we screen would be of interest to our audience.
